SomethinkSounds is a label I have really been feeling in 2012 and their latest release is by Black Orange Juice, a group comprising of Ossie, Paul Black & Tillz. Infusing big funky chords with housey vocals on the lead track ‘Back Of My Car‘, which also features an Ossie remix, they are likely to have a summer banger on their hands.
‘Nobody Knows‘ is straight up house music, no messing around feel good business. That these guys seem to be wanting to make the jump from making underground house music to charting pop songs, as they say on ‘Nobody Knows’, bridging the gap. This release definitely has the potential of making this happen. Have a listen.
