So before going on to smash up Rhythm Factory last night, our buddies MIK and Pedro 123 graced Just Jam with an awesome set. You may also catch the occasional “Big up management!”. That’s me.. It’s no big deal though I don’t like to talk about it.
I don’t know much about who/what Strange Universe is/are, but this track featuring Shadow Star Boxer and produced by Om Unit (pictured above) is dope. The retro futuristic video below is well worth checking out in and of itself. They have some more cool videos up on their youtube channel here.
Prolific Seattle based hip hop producer Keyboard Kid 206 has just dropped the sick new ‘Cosmonaut‘ EP, which is available to preview and buy now via his bandcamp. Largely known for his work with Lil B, it is his instrumental mixtapes that I would recommend checking out. I will leave it to him to describe the new EP in his own words…

Sometimes a freestyle video comes along and you think, THIS IS TOO MUCH.
THIS is TOO MUCH!
Big up FT
The way they know each other’s bars is great. Not only that though, the way they remix each other’s bars – it makes them one of the most interesting crews to grace the grime scene.
I was really impressed with the quality of clashes on #LOTM3, and everyone’s performance, with perhaps one exception, was very strong. As such, it’s only right to spread the word about those who repped in the basement. Someone who impressed me with his own unique style of bars and delivery was Manchester’s Hypes. Shout out to Tezz Kid as well, because in my own opinion, their clash was the most exciting bar for bar. Lord Of The Mics is available to buy from itunes and you can get Hypes’ mixtape for free here.
