A much anticipated return for David Kennedy aka Pearson Sound on his Hessle Audio imprint. This 12″ spoils us with three tracks furthering a minimal percussive, grime-infused workout. All tracks favour his signature style with skittsh drums, minimal juddering bass, with echoes and space. The A-side of ‘Clutch’ has industrial sounding clicks and snare and huge 808 sounds. On the flip, ‘Underdog’ detonates and explodes in your face with 8-bar claps, oozing echoes of jungle sound past on ‘Piston’.
