Reggae Roast returns to The CAMP Basement for another night of quality roots & culture, welcoming special guests, Channel One Sound System. Mikey Dread & Ras Kayleb will be passing through for an exclusive 2-hour set, testing the limits of the blistering 20k sound system, sending bass rumblings across the streets of East London. This is not to be missed!
Channel One should need no introduction, having been one of the UKs leading sounds for 30 golden years. Last year they earned themselves the title of ‘Champions of the Redbull Culture Clash’, seeing off competition from the likes of Skream & Benga, Mettalheadz & Soul Jazz Records, officially making them the leaders of sound system culture in the UK.
They return after an uplifting set at the Reggae Roast new years eve party for another lesson in the power of bass, drums and steppers riddims. Controller Mikey Dread will be dropping his legendary selection of conscious records spanning 5 decades. Ras Kayleb supplies lyrical chants, commanding the audience and elevating the energy in the CAMP basement.

This Saturday, June 4, 2011, sees the launch of new London party Liminal Sounds.
To promote the night, rather than add yet another mix to your inbox, Liminal have undertaken a project that created a collaboration between the different artists playing, highlighting both the areas of common ground between them and also their unique musical viewpoints.
The result of this is LS001, two free remixes that were created by artists from our lineup remixing each other. You can download them below, or from a direct download here.
