First time we heard about Claude Speeed the musician, was via a ten track bundle given away by Scottish taste making powerhouse LuckyMe; the track was called ‘Don’t Ever Antagonize the Horn’ and went on to become a staple opener in Black Athena dj sets ever since. Claude is also the guitarist and keyboardist of synthetic post-rock outfit American Men, who allegedly borrowed their name from a shop somewhere in Barcelona after a memorable night out during Sonar Festival and he has also contributed guitars to Mike Slott‘s forthcoming release.
Claude’s sound is resonantly dreamy and heavily emotive, while at the same time being crisp, tight and inescapably addictive. #thecoloursilver #jamiexxonpsychotropics
