FOUNDER / DJ
Leigh has been playing records and been involved in underground events in London since the late 90′s, as part of the 2-Step and UK Garage scene. GET SOME was founded when he got together with his friend Jasset and decided they wanted to be involved in the resurgent bass scene, throwing their first party in October 1999 supporting up and coming artists.
Jasset quit his job as a boy racer and moved from the West Midlands to the bright lights of London in 2004. From there, he stumbled across local pirate radio stations like Rinse (100.3 as it was back then) and Kool FM, swapping hard house for the sounds of grime and jungle. Not such an angry kid any more, but still rocking tracksuits on a daily, Jasset now only has two types of music, stuff he likes and stuff he doesn’t. After meeting Leigh, they thought it might be a good idea to take music a bit more seriosuly. When not working on a Get Some project, Jasset makes music and fashion videos.
Since 2009 Bobby has been the GET SOME in-house grime nerd, mainly working with up & coming MCs in the scene, but has also more recently branched out into the wider London ‘bass’ community. Bobby is currently managing M.I.K from Family Tree and funky / grime producer Pedro 123!
ELSEWHERE / LIMINAL SOUNDS / GET SOME
Sam DJs and produces under the Elsewhere moniker, a project he embarked upon when he realised it was no longer acceptable to listen to Shania Twain. He has since gone on to receive widespread acclaim from his family. His mum encouraged him to set up Liminal Sounds as a means of meeting friends. So far, it hasn’t worked. She now pays Get Some to let him tag along and get him out of the house.
When Sara isn’t blogging for GET SOME, she’s a graphic designer by way of mathematics, bedroom DJ, trends correspondent for Protein, and one half of Liminal Sounds.

Lover of bass, friendly of face. Brett is original Get Some family. Sometime DJ, always dancer, number one fan and occasional writer. Seeking new sounds and the talent behind them is just one of his passions which led to us signing Eagles For Hands on our very own record label. In his daily guise Brett helps brands to fulfil their obligation to be more relevant and more considered in their efforts to engage consumers. Most recently his projects have provided direction and informed some of the latest culture-based initiatives from Sony, Vice and MTV.
